Manager, Supply Chain Engineer

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Engineer will analyze and improve supply chain processes and capacity using data, technology, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, improve performance, and support strategic supply chain initiatives across the organization

• Assessment of DC Operations to identify optimization opportunities to improve flow, throughput, capacity, productivity, and OEE
• Establishing and document standards for supply chain facilities
• Development and updating of DC capacities in storage and processing
• Flow analysis
• Bottleneck analysis
• Cycle time analysis
• Time and motion studies
• Inventory slotting
• CAD drawing update and revisions
• Manage multiple projects from concept to execution
• Support the needs of the business for Operations Excellence

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years of Industrial engineering experience (Distribution or Fulfillment)
• Exposure to operations labor and capacity planning
• Experience working with productivity rates, labor savings analysis, engineering standards, and process improvement
• Experience in Distribution or Fulfillment facility operations
• Experience with Supply Chain systems, WMS, LMS, TMS, etc.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives
• Experience with Good to Person (GTP) warehouse automation and systems

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with statistical analysis, engineering economics, simulation modeling, and advanced data and analytics
• Experience in Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen Events
• Experience leading operations labor and capacity planning
• Green Belt Certification or higher
• Project management experience
• Capital project justification and management
• Network Digital Twin and Simulation experience
• Experience with Google Big Query (GBQ) or other cloud based data platforms
• Experience applying analytics to operations ,supply chain, distribution, inventory, or productivity

Develops, evaluates, and implements proposed business cases for projects and initiatives. Influences business stakeholder decision-making. Translates business requirements into strategies, initiatives, and projects, aligns them to business objectives, and drives the execution of deliverables. Demonstrates deep expertise of Supply Chain Distribution, Fulfillment, and Transportation. Builds and articulates the business case and return on investment and delivers work that has demonstrable value.
