KJ Consulting & Environmental Services, LLC has an immediate need for a Transportation Construction Inspector near Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Salary Range$20.76 to $36.21 hourly
Responsibilities- Oversee, inspect and monitor contractual field work
- Test soils, concrete, and bituminous paving
- Calculate quantities for estimate payments
- Review construction schedules
- Follow PennDOT documentation procedures
- Recommend changes to construction plans to meet field conditions and provide project cost savings
- Maintain project records, prepare work orders, and monthly estimates
- High school diploma.
- Five or more years of experience in construction inspection of highway or bridges (preferred).
- NICET transportation - Highway Construction Level I or higher
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Certification
- NECEPT Asphalt Field Technician certification
- NECEPT Concrete Field Testing Technician certification
