Job Overview – Entry Level Engineering Associate (Temp to Perm):

Compensation: $22/hour

Location:
Delaware County, PA

Schedule:
Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Our client is hiring an Entry Level Engineering Associate in Delaware County, PA, to produce placing plans, bar lists, and rebar drawings for structural construction projects. This temporary involves interpreting blueprints, creating layouts in AutoCAD, and collaborating with internal teams and contractors. Candidates should have experience with AutoCAD, aSa Micro Station, and knowledge of structural detailing and rebar placement.

Responsibilities as the Entry Level Engineering Associate:

  • Plan & Drawing Development: Create detailed placing plans and shop drawings based on structural and architectural specs.
  • Material Coordination: Generate bar lists and accessory orders to align with project schedules and delivery timelines.
  • Project Communication: Collaborate with fabrication teams and communicate with contractors, engineers, and architects to resolve plan-related issues.
  • Drawing Revisions: Update and revise drawings as needed, ensuring all changes are accurately documented and approved.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain organized records, including drawing logs, change orders, and release tracking files.

Qualifications for the Entry Level Engineering Associate:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in construction detailing, drafting, or CAD drawing, preferably in structural or rebar-related projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and aSa Micro Station, with strong blueprint reading and structural plan interpretation skills.
  • Skills & Attributes: Organized and deadline-driven with strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction sequencing, rebar detailing, and general field practices is a plus.
