Financial Advisor – Sports & Wealth Management

First Financial Group / Bull Harbor Capital is expanding our financial advisory team and developing a growing initiative focused on the business of youth and amateur sports.

We are looking for a Financial Advisor who wants to build a practice with the resources of an established financial services organization while also having the opportunity to participate in a developing sports-focused market.

Our work in the sports industry goes beyond traditional individual financial planning. We are building relationships with sports clubs, organizations, coaches, executives and other professionals to address areas including retirement plans, employee benefits, financial wellness, wealth management and individual financial planning.

For the right advisor, this creates an opportunity to build a traditional financial advisory practice while developing a specialty within an industry that has historically been underserved by comprehensive financial services.

Previous experience as an athlete, coach, administrator or within the sports industry is valuable, but not required.

• Build and manage relationships with individuals, families, business owners and organizations
• Develop comprehensive financial strategies based on each client's goals, needs and financial circumstances
• Provide guidance across investments, retirement planning, risk management and wealth accumulation
• Identify and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals and strategic market development
• Work collaboratively with specialists and other professionals to provide comprehensive client solutions
• Participate, where appropriate, in the continued development of our sports-focused financial services initiative
• Maintain appropriate FINRA, regulatory and firm compliance standards

• Current or previous experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, retirement services, insurance or a related field
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing a long-term advisory practice
• Series 7, Series 6, Series 65, Series 66 or other relevant securities licensing preferred
• Life and Health licensing preferred
• Existing Financial Advisors and experienced financial professionals are encouraged to apply
• Experience or relationships within youth, collegiate or professional sports are a plus
• Former athletes and coaches interested in combining their financial-services career with the sports industry are strongly encouraged to apply

This is not simply a traditional Financial Advisor opening with “sports” added to the title.

We are actively developing relationships and financial solutions within the sports industry while continuing to expand a broader wealth management and advisory business.

An advisor joining our team can build across both worlds: developing their own client relationships and practice while potentially participating in a growing sports-focused platform.
