Job Summary

The co‑op program is an educational and clinical work experience for high school students. The individual is responsible and accountable for performing a wide range of patient care tasks, allowing the care team to provide quality care.

• Provide patient care within a clinical scope of practice.
• Fulfill designated responsibilities for ongoing continuum of care (non‑assessment).
• Identify, observe, and document the physical needs of the patient according to standards.
• Assist with patient transfer and transport as needed.
• Assist in problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and taking corrective measures in the care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Assist in clerical responsibilities as required for task completion.
• Suggest issues for improvement and offer solutions.
