Position SummaryThe Physician Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist to provide coordinated, high-quality care to clients within the assigned program. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities performed within the scope of licensure, certification, and granted privileges.
QualificationsCandidates must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current certification
- Unrestricted PA licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- DEA registration
- Ability to obtain and maintain medical liability coverage
- Current, approved credentialing and privileges for relevant facilities
- Experience working with adult mental health and/or IDD populations strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Must pass a clear DMV check
- Travel within the community or throughout Pennsylvania may be required approximately 10-15% of the time
