Overview
Job Title: End User Computing Device Technician
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Project: Led by the Director and Project Manager. Team is responsible for the configuration, deployment and Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR)
Responsibilities- Configuration:
Assess existing hardware, install software, ensure compatibility with Epic's requirements, create system category items, and link devices to user accounts - Ensure all hardware devices are compliant and capable of running the system. This includes inventory checks, deployment of new hardware, and configuration for user readiness.
- Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) testing, validating workstations, peripherals, and applications to ensure system readiness before go-live.
- Coordinate port patching and network setup, work with infrastructure and network teams to ensure proper connectivity and security compliance.
- Enhance workflows, minimize risk, and strong communication with Project Manager and team, provide real-time updates and ensure on-time project execution.
- New patient iPads
- Welcome kiosks
- Barcode Readers
- Label Printers
- iPhones
- Workstations (DELL)
- Epic Local so no Citrix nor Printer Logic
- No Virtual Printing nor VDI Printing at this point
