Principal Scientist – Research Computational Biology; ARIA

• Drive extraction of biological insights from complex multi-modal omics and screening data
• Develop and leverage methods/platforms to discover, prioritize, and validate therapeutic targets
• Collaborate with therapeutic area scientists on innovative research
• Shape roadmap priorities with data science and information systems teams
• Influence computational biology strategy across multiple discovery programs

• Doctorate in computational biology, bioinformatics, data science, or a related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 5 years of experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience in computational biology
• Strong research background in cardiometabolic disease and/or immunology
• Proven track record of driving impactful programs or platforms in discovery or early development
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, and Linux/Unix
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Experience mentoring scientists and setting standards for computational best practices
• Ability to integrate portfolio-level business context into research strategy
• Demonstrated expertise in the analysis and interpretation of single‑cell omics data
• Familiarity with public data resources such as Dep Map and Human Cell Atlas
• Experience developing tools and pipelines for interactive portals and workflow‑management systems
