About the RoleWe're hiring our first full-time employee and we're looking for an amazing person who will help us set the bar for what being a Strat Simple team member looks like. We're hiring a Customer Success Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in helping our customers (consultants and nonprofits) succeed.
You’ll own the customer experience from onboarding through ongoing support, designing and configuring surveys, building client‑ready strategic deliverables, and guiding customers through training. You’ll develop training materials, experiment with AI tools to improve workflows, and contribute ideas that make our processes better.
This role offers real growth potential and is perfect for someone who’s organized, interested in entrepreneurship, tech‑savvy, great with people, and ready to take ownership inside a startup.
Location: While your daily work will be remote, we’d like you to be located within a 2‑hour drive of Wilkes‑Barre, PA to make it practical for us to do team meetings in person occasionally.
Pay: $50‑55k annual salary plus bonus potential with our expectation for significant growth as we grow!
What You’ll Do- Train & Support:
- Lead onboarding sessions and feature walk‑throughs.
- Independently assess and resolve customer challenges, escalating complex issues with recommended solutions.
- Exercise judgment in prioritizing and resolving client issues.
- Evaluate customer health metrics and proactively recommend interventions.
- Develop and refine onboarding processes based on client feedback and outcomes.
- Prepare Surveys: Design and configure virtual interview experiences, collaborating with consultants to optimize engagement strategy.
- Build PowerPoint Reports: Analyze and synthesize automated outputs into client‑ready strategic deliverables, exercising judgment on presentation and messaging.
- Leverage AI: Use AI tools (like ChatGPT) to streamline tasks, draft content, and automate workflows.
- Support Operations: Lead special projects and develop operational improvements that support company growth.
- Fully remote role.
- One three‑day weekend a month.
- 20+ holidays a year including the week between Christmas and New Year, and the full week of Thanksgiving.
- 3 weeks PTO.
- Employee #1 in a technology startup with huge potential for growth and influence.
- Live within a 2‑hour commute of Wilkes‑Barre, PA.
- Skilled in PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to work smarter.
- Strong written and verbal communicator.
- Highly organized, proactive, and self‑directed.
- Energized by a fast‑paced, evolving startup environment.
- Familiarity with strategic planning concepts (SWOT, KPIs, OKRs).
- Interest in nonprofits and community impact.
- Bachelor’s degree (business, communications, etc…) is preferred but not required.
- Experience in customer support, software businesses, or consulting.
- Be the first full‑time hire at a profitable, growing startup.
- Work directly with the CEO and leadership team and help shape how we grow.
- Gain hands‑on experience in entrepreneurship, customer success, operations, and AI.
