** Production Supervisor
** is a key leader responsible for managing all aspects of production operations for our Residential Gas Meters. This role involves overseeing a team of
** production professionals**, ensuring the manufacturing process meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The supervisor is a hands-on manager who implements best practices, drives continuous improvement, and ensures strict compliance with industry regulations.
** Work schedule" 2-2-3, hours are 6PM to 6AM
** Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership: 15 direct reports
* Provide guidance and direction to production team
* Lead and motivate team to meet production goals
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
* Identify and address any issues or conflicts within the team Production Planning and Coordination:
* Develop and implement production schedules
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
* Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements
* Troubleshoot and resolve any production related issues
Quality Control:
* Ensure products meet company quality standards
* Conduct quality inspections and audits
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures
* Address any quality issues or concerns in a timely manner
Budget and Cost Management:
* Monitor and control production costs
* Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
* Prepare and track production budgets
* Make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Communication and Reporting:
* Communicate production updates and issues to upper management
* Provide regular reports on production progress and performance
* Coordinate with other departments for product launches or changes
* Maintain open and clear communication with production team members.
Team Management:
* Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.
* Conflict Resolution:
Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.
