Shared Services Director

New Life Community is a vibrant, Christ-centered, Brethren in Christ Church located in Carlisle, PA. We are passionate about being a diverse community of Jesus-followers who live out His love, acceptance, healing, and hope seven days a week. We’re currently searching for ahigh-capacity, kingdom-minded Shared Services Directorwho loves Jesus and is eager to put their leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational gifts to work for His glory.

In this key role, you’ll help drive the mission of New Life Community and NLC Life Works (our non-profit) by overseeing the operational backbone of our ministries. You’ll lead and support teams across Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, and IT, ensuring excellence and alignment with our vision and values.

• Collaborate with leadership on direction and development of operations mission
• Develop and mentor high-performing teams to accomplish the mission
• Drive day-to-day operational functions of both the church and nonprofit organization
• Maintain and improve facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Manage accounting and bookkeeping systems and processes ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability
• Manage payroll and Human Resources systems and processes
• Manage Information Technology and Security systems and processes

• Able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple areas of responsibility
• A collaborative team player who takes initiative and leads with integrity
• Eager to learn and grow

• Systems experience with Google Workspace, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Planning Center Online
• Experience in a church or non-profit setting
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience and/or training
• Experience developing and leading teams
• Experience in human resources, facilities management, or IT also helpful
