We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our teams that provide same-day care to patients of all ages, in a fast-paced, walk-in clinic environment. Geisinger Convenient Care and Community Care Express Care, an FQHC look-a-like model, affiliated with Geisinger, has opportunities in northeast and central Pennsylvania.
What You’ll Do- Treat non-life‑threatening conditions (e.g., infections, minor injuries, common illnesses)
- Provide preventive services including screenings and immunizations
- Maintain efficient patient flow in a high-volume clinical setting
- No overnight shifts
- Predictable schedule (14 shifts/month, every other weekend)
- Autonomy with access to Geisinger’s network of specialists
- Variety of patient cases across all age groups
- NP with at least six months of experience in primary care, emergency medicine, or other in a fast‑paced outpatient setting
- Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment
