OverviewThe RN provides comprehensive perioperative care to patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures, covering preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
Responsibilities- Patient assessment
- Preparing patients for surgery
- Assisting in the operating room (circulating/scrubbing)
- Monitoring recovery
- Educating families on discharge instructions
BS in nursing
LicensureActive RN license in PA
CertificationsBLS, ACLS, PALS preferred
Experience1-3 years of nursing, preferably in operating, PACU, or critical care environments
