Clinical Placement Coordinator

Position Overview

Wilkes University invites applicants for a full‑time Clinical Nursing Simulation Center staff position/ Clinical Placement Coordinator in the Undergraduate Department of the Passan School of Nursing. This position begins June 2024. The PSON provides comprehensive programming that has expanded professional opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Both programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

• Assist students with practice and testing of nursing skills and simulations
• Arrange clinical placement sites and recruit adjunct faculty for clinical experiences
• Serve as Training Center Coordinator for American Heart Association programs
• Collaborate with faculty on assigned committees

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with active enrollment in a master’s program
• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Pennsylvania
• Certified BLS/ACLS instructor
• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
