School-Based LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse

Position: LPN Licensed Practical Nurse, providing 1:1 or classroom-based care in local school districts throughout Luzerne County.

• Providing direct medical care such as administering medications, performing health procedures, and responding to emergencies for students with various health needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized health care plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
• Monitoring students' physical and emotional health, especially those with disabilities or medical conditions.
• Educating students on health, hygiene, and self-care tailored to their developmental levels.
• Supporting special education teams by participating in IEP meetings and providing health-related input.
• Ensuring a safe, accessible environment, training staff on health protocols, and advocating for students' health needs.

• Current PA nursing license
• Minimum one year of relevant experience
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings
