About the Position

Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified OR RN in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, 18702!

Travel OR RN – Operating Room (10hr & 12hr Days)

Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

Contract | Travel | Days | 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:15 PM) and 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in an operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required throughout surgical procedures
• Fulfill on-call requirements of one to two call shifts per week (8-hour call shifts)
• Float to a surgery center as needed
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient care management

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability and willingness to float to a surgery center
• Flexibility to work both 10-hour and 12-hour day shifts as scheduled

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical services setting

• Immediate start available for a 13-week contract engagement in a well-established surgical services department
• Hospital-provided scrubs included for the duration of the assignment
