Geisinger is hiring a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Convenient Care+ urgent care clinic in South Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for advanced practice providers seeking a dynamic, patient‑focused environment with strong clinical support and work‑life balance.

Our South Wilkes-Barre Convenient Care+ clinic offers an alternative to emergency department visits, providing timely care for acute illnesses and chronic condition flare‑ups. This clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostics and direct hospital admission capabilities.

• $10,000 recruitment incentive
• Flexible schedule: 14 rotating shifts/month, no overnights, no mandatory extra shifts
• Shift hours: 12‑hour weekdays (Mon–Fri), 10‑hour weekends (Sat–Sun)
• Autonomous practice with on‑site physician support
• Collaborative care team:
  Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebotomy, Radiology Techs
• Advanced equipment:
  Telemedicine carts and continuous vital sign monitoring
• On‑site diagnostics: X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, lab services
• Direct hospital admissions when needed

• Master's Degree‑Physician Assistant (Required)
