Role Overview
The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesCompleting assessments, developing and coordinating care plans, administering treatments and medications, and evaluating patient responses. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs and participates in quality and safety programs. Acts as a team member to promote optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications & SkillsRequires graduation from a specialty nursing program, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Demonstrates compassionate, patient-centered care, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical procedures is essential.
Work Environment & Additional DetailsWork is performed in a clinical environment, primarily in private or semi-private rooms, caring for patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions, including surgical and orthopedic cases. Flexibility for shifts and participation in weekend and holiday rotations are expected.
