RN Wound Care Specialist

• Coordinate wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• Report to the Director of Wound Care

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nursing License for the state in which the employee is working
• Current CPR certification and maintenance of certification
• Two (2) years direct patient care experience required
• Experience in emergency care, critical care or ET nursing preferred
• Certification from an approved Wound Care Certification course preferred

Demonstrates expertise in coordinating wound care therapy within nursing care plans, alongside strong leadership and collaboration with healthcare teams. Holds essential certifications and licenses to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
