Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

Role:

Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.

Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer treatments and medications, and evaluate patient responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Ensure compassionate, patient-centered interactions and promote safety and satisfaction.

Graduate from a recognized nursing program, with the ability to assess, plan, and evaluate nursing activities. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential. Experience in surgical orthopedic and total joint care is preferred.

Provide direct patient care, coordinate discharge planning, educate patients and families, and participate in unit-based decision-making. Uphold all policies, ensure compliance, and contribute to organizational quality metrics.

Work environment typically involves private and semi-private rooms, managing a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions. The role includes evening, night, and weekend shifts, with a focus on high-reliability care, teamwork, and community engagement.
