Registered Nurse – Cardiac Stepdown Unit

Provides direct inpatient nursing care, assessing patient needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Complete assessments based on scope of practice and unit standards.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Formulate and coordinate individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies following policies.
• Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to resolve patient needs proactively.
• Problem-solve equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit-based decision-making.

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required);
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and prioritize patient care.

Typically performs in a clinical setting, ensuring compliance with policies. Responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, promoting safety, and enhancing patient satisfaction.
