Provides comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, focusing on patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating nursing activities, including patient preparation, risk assessment, equipment sterilization, IV therapy, medication administration, and post-procedure care. Acts as a resource for patient education, monitors patient conditions, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient care and staff interactions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and staff supervision.
- Support orientation and training of new staff and students.
- Assist with emergency and critical procedures, including IV starts and sedation.
- Report and document patient status, incidents, and adverse events promptly.
- Take on charge nurse duties, assigning staff based on patient acuity.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
- Experience in operating room settings and CNOR certification preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical skills, compassionate patient interaction, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
