LPN – Practical Nurse – Acute Care Surgical Telemetry Unit

Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and contributing to care plans within established standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policies.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care accordingly.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Reinforce education, discharge planning, and family needs throughout hospitalization.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
• Participate in evidence-based practice decision-making and unit operations.
• Mentor and precept new staff and students.
• Contribute data for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing; ability to coordinate patient care; strong communication and teamwork skills; compassionate bedside manner.
