Registered Nurse – Acute Care Medical-Surgical Unit

The Inpatient RN provides direct patient care, supervises staff, and supports unit operations to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care.

• Supervise nursing staff, assist with orientation, performance appraisals, and addressing performance issues.
• Coordinate patient care activities, manage staffing, supplies, and patient/bed triage.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and visitors regarding care and policies.
• Contribute to developing nursing policies and promote evidence-based practices.
• Mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles.
• Manage resource utilization and address patient and family concerns.
• Document incidents, follow-up, and ensure efficient unit operations.

Enrollment in a BSN program with at least 2 years of experience; graduate from specialty training; strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills; ability to promote teamwork and patient safety.

The role involves flexibility in hours, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, staff mentorship, and unit management in a clinical setting.
