Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Role Overview: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room to support surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under supervision. Performs preoperative evaluations, monitors patients during procedures, and conducts postoperative follow-up. Acts as a patient advocate and liaison among patients, families, and medical staff.

• Anesthetizes patients and selects appropriate drugs for anesthesia and emergencies.
• Induces, maintains, and adjusts anesthesia; monitors patient hemodynamics and equipment.
• Communicates patient status with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Performs thorough preoperative assessments and organizes OR setup.
• Responds to emergencies, maintains airway, and provides anesthesia support in various areas.
• Ensures accurate charting, safe patient transport, and effective handoff reports.
• Serves as a mentor and preceptor to staff, residents, students, and nurses.

Master's Degree in Nursing required. Ability to interpret hemodynamic data, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills are essential.
