What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Engage with targeted state, local, and higher education enterprise prospects to identify business process challenges and position solutions
  • Conduct consultative presentations to key decision‑makers, including C‑suite executives
  • Manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification to closing
  • Apply value‑based selling methodologies to forecast sales accurately

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • 10‑15 years of direct, consultative sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
  • Experience selling to state, local, and education accounts
  • Understanding of the business challenges faced by higher education and government organizations
  • Extensive experience in selling complex SaaS solutions to Fortune 2000 companies
  • Proven success in navigating complex buying environments and multiple lines of business

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Mastery of outcome‑based sales methodologies such as Challenger selling, TAS, MEDDPICC, or Miller Heiman
  • A strong hunter mindset with a competitive edge and team‑oriented approach
  • Demonstrated history of career stability and success in a consultative sales role
