What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with targeted state, local, and higher education enterprise prospects to identify business process challenges and position solutions
- Conduct consultative presentations to key decision‑makers, including C‑suite executives
- Manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification to closing
- Apply value‑based selling methodologies to forecast sales accurately
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure customer success and identify expansion opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10‑15 years of direct, consultative sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
- Experience selling to state, local, and education accounts
- Understanding of the business challenges faced by higher education and government organizations
- Extensive experience in selling complex SaaS solutions to Fortune 2000 companies
- Proven success in navigating complex buying environments and multiple lines of business
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Mastery of outcome‑based sales methodologies such as Challenger selling, TAS, MEDDPICC, or Miller Heiman
- A strong hunter mindset with a competitive edge and team‑oriented approach
- Demonstrated history of career stability and success in a consultative sales role
