Responsibilities- Rover:
Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. - Gatehouse:
Greet truck drivers and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property. - Front Desk:
Acknowledge and greet guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, provide customer service, access control, greet residents and guests with courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages. - Device Check:
Scan tags on back of approved employee devices, read persons IMEI on phone ensuring matches sticker or paperwork. - North Dock:
Monitor trash dump for theft attempts, open/close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets inbound, monitor open dock doors during loading, monitor special projects during peak season. - South Dock:
Count pallets inbound, monitor special projects during peak season, send/receive emails, type truck information, monitor open dock doors, open/close dock doors. - Metal Detector:
Check devices in/out; only approved devices with sticker or paperwork allowed; ensure visitors clear through X‑ray, verify no prohibited items enter building. - Tracker:
Keeps track of high‑value loads via computer software.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
- Minimum of one year of security experience.
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
- Position requires occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods.
- Morning, mid‑day, overnight, and weekend availability required.
- Positions starting at $17.00 per hour.
