The SAP Supervisor will provide administrative oversight of the SAP Program. The Student Assistance Program is an intervention service provided within the school setting and is intended to identify and address problems negatively impacting students’ academics, attendance, health, and behavior. The Council’s Student Assistance Services are provided by a trained team of state- certified Student Assistance Program behavioral health liaisons assigned specifically to a school district.
Services include assessment, consultation, referral and/or small group education for SAP identified youth.

* Demonstrated experience in working with schools SAP programs, adolescents, families and the mental health, drug and alcohol education fields, group facilitation and public speaking.
SAP Certification Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field with a minimum of 5 years of SAP experience or master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field with SAP experience preferred.
