Seasonal position with an expected start date in mid‑April. DCS is seeking a responsible, motivated, and proficient Highway and Bridge Maintenance Laborer with good ethics and a great attitude. The role involves performing highway maintenance labor work, including traffic control set‑ups, bridge maintenance/cleaning, and tree/brush removal.

Operations:

• Perform diverse types of highway maintenance work, including bridge cleaning, maintenance, tree cutting, and vegetation removal.
• Conduct equipment checks for pre‑ and post‑trips.
• Set up and tear down daily temporary traffic control.
• Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with strict safety guidelines.
• Drive company vehicles.
• Use all equipment and tools safely.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with 5 years clean MVR.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certified (company provided if not currently certified).
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to drive box truck or equivalent.
• Capable and comfortable working from various heights.
• Ability to travel away from home for up to 1–2 weeks at a time to DE, NJ, NY, PA, and VA (hotel expenses paid by the Company).

Compensation range: $18–20 hourly depending on experience.
