Inventory Control Assistant

7am to 6pm (start time can range from 7am to 9am and end of day may stretch out to 6pm)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interfacing with the client and the meter vendor regarding inventory shipments. Each person performs warehouse oversight functions in support of program management. This includes securing the inventory. Coordinate inventory control operations at warehouse location within program service territory. Coordinate with program management to ensure inventory control operations are directed appropriately toward meeting all program goals. Required to join rotation for the after hour management of the emergency service repair requests from utility client.

The task consists of directing the subcontractor on endpoint customer repairs, coordinating/communicating with the endpoint customer and scheduling all subsequent non-emergency repairs using the data management system. Exercise strong judgment skills and make independent decisions to support the daily operations of warehouse. Responsible for Inventory Reports with daily, physical count of meter inventory in all warehouses and compile detailed inventory reports for customer and Program Management.

Be responsible for the accurate reporting of the inventory status of all locations to the customer that is included in the weekly production report.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• 2 years of experience with MS Office in a professional environment
• 1 year minimum experience in inventory control/ logistics and warehouse support
• Forklift operator certified

Part time 20 hrs per wk , shift: all (weekend, weeknight, graveyard shifts, etc)
