On-Call Registered Nurse; RN

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team. This unique role offers full-time pay for working every other week
, providing after-hours care and support to our participants in their homes.

• Overnight Weekdays:
  On-Call from 3:30 PM – 8:30 AM (Monday–Friday)
  EVERY OTHER WEEK ONLY
• Weekends: 24-hour on-call coverage (Saturday & Sunday)
  EVERY OTHER WEEKEND ONLY

Homestead, Wilkinsburg, and surrounding communities

• Provide after-hours nursing care and support to older adult participants
• Assess and manage episodic illnesses in collaboration with the on-call provider
• Deliver prescribed treatments and nursing interventions
• Educate participants and caregivers on care plans and health management
• Document all care and changes in condition promptly and accurately
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania
• Valid PA driver’s license
• Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations (home care, long-term care, or community health preferred)
• Experience in patient and caregiver education is a plus
