As a full-time permanent Housing Assistant, this position involves supporting the Public Works department with various tasks. You will ensure that housing services are accessible and fair for all members, while also managing administrative and clerical responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-paced environment to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality housing service to WLFN members
• Execute various clerical duties like cheque requisitions
• Organize appointments for housing initiatives
• Assist with the management of housing facilities
• Support the Housing Manager with administrative needs
Requirements:
• Completed High School or equivalent
• 1-2 years in administrative roles
• Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong problem-solving and writing abilities
• Understanding of Indigenous culture and protocols
