Experienced Haul Unit Operator - Civil & Mining

Lake Excavating Ltd. is hiring an Experienced Haul Unit Operator to work with heavy equipment in dynamic outdoor settings. This position focuses on safety, efficiency, and effective teamwork on various construction sites.

Our company has built a solid reputation in Western Canada, providing extensive civil and earthworks services. We require candidates with heavy equipment operating experience, especially those skilled in civil pipe installation and mining operations. You will manage hauling tasks, assist in labor duties, and maintain compliance with stringent safety standards while collaborating with supervisors and peers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate articulated and rigid-frame haul trucks efficiently

• Accurately place loose materials like gravel and crushed rock

• Complete routine maintenance and cleaning of machines

• Follow strict schedules, accommodating client and weather demands

• Maintain safety logs and adhere to Work Safe protocols

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean record

• Reliable transportation to job sites from Williams Lake

• Proven experience in industrial or civil environments

• Must be able to lift and handle heavy loads

• Willingness to learn through training opportunities
