As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you'll report directly to the Superintendent, Mechanical. This role calls for a self-motivated professional who can perform accurate vehicle inspections, prioritize safety, and communicate effectively with management. As part of the job, you’ll need to perform maintenance across a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics accurately
• Perform repairs on heavy-duty equipment and trucks
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with management for smooth communication
• Work efficiently in challenging weather conditions
Requirements:
• Heavy Duty Journeyperson Certificate required
• Grade 12 education or equivalent technical training
• Valid B.C. Driver's License (Class 5 or 3 with Air)
• Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities
• Ability to perform heavy physical duties
