Job Description

The Activities Coordinator creates engaging experiences for guests by planning and leading daily resort activities such as fitness classes, poolside games and entertainment, family arts and crafts, sports events, special events, and guest excursions. This role oversees the daily operations of the Activity Center, including handling cash, processing transactions, and issuing receipts, while maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and tracking guest participation.

The Activities Coordinator also supports Kids Club programming and works with team members to ensure a fun, safe, and memorable environment for guests of all ages.

  • Facilitate activities for adults and children, including setup and cleanup.
  • Lead and participate in arts, crafts, pool games, and recreational activities.
  • Ensure guest safety and enforce all activity and pool area rules.
  • Track daily participation, equipment usage, and guest interactions.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the Activity Center and pool.
  • Handle cash and room charges accurately, including logging and end-of-shift submissions.
  • Maintain and organize crafts, games, equipment, and activity spaces.
  • Manage game and equipment sign‑out procedures.
  • Monitor inventory, submit supply requests, and report low stock.
  • Assist with special events such as holiday and pool parties.
  • Maintain towel supply and ensure pool area cleanliness.
  • Update the activities board with current materials and flyers.
  • Suggest new activity ideas to enhance the guest experience.
  • Engage guests to promote activities and create an energetic, fun environment.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, reliability, and positive guest service.
  • Assist with Kids Club programming and other departmental tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and use good judgment.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree GED.
  • The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Follow instructions without close supervision.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
