Job Duties
Couriers are a critical part of the JFY team, assisting with the safe, secure and timely deliveries of documents, small parcels and deposits between our three sites, post office and banking institutions.
The courier must be able to work independently, managing time, schedules and communications effectively. This position will use a state vehicle to carry out courier related tasks and is expected to be able to successfully complete required training and vehicle maintenance logs such as mileage and fuel information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to follow clear and detailed directions
- Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision
- Experience working in a service-oriented environment
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Additional Considerations
- Knowledge of U.S. Postal Regulations preferred
