Job Overview

The Front Desk Specialist will serve as the front of the house liaison to facilitate an exceptional guest experience. Individuals will be the primary point of contact for guests checking into the resort, handling folio transactions, check‑out processes, and performing daily reports. They will support the Marketing Face to Face team during check‑in, assist with room assignment concerns, and provide technical support for the business center and resort Wi‑Fi.

Essential Duties and Tasks
  • Greets all guests and provides outstanding customer service, facilitating the overall experience from check‑in through check‑out.
  • Handles complex technical tasks including room changes, inventory moves and folio adjustments; creates and issues keys while ensuring safety and security.
  • Communicates with housekeeping, maintenance, and custodial staff to expedite cleaning and repair requests.
  • Maintains the house cash bank, performs end‑of‑day reporting, cashes checks, calculates visit costs, verifies credit, and determines payment method.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience, preferably in a resort or hotel front office.
Qualifications
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to acquire a clear understanding of time shareware applications.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Capable of seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Professional business appearance and upbeat, pleasant personality.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
