The Project Assistant position with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation will support and assist the Learning and Community Engagement team with the planning and logistics for the summer 2027 teacher professional development travel program funded through a grant secured from the Lilly Foundation.
Minimum Qualifications- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to changing situations with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to take direction and provide feedback to supervisor and coworkers
- Efficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity and experience working with travel programs/conference planning, tourism industry/working with large groups
- Customer service experience
This position is funded for 9 months and may work up to 30 hours per week.
