Job Summary:

The Civil Engineering Equipment Manager supports civil engineering operations by overseeing Civil Engineering Equipment (CEE) assets and maintenance activities in accordance with program and operational requirements. This position is responsible for managing equipment maintenance strategies, material support processes, and regulatory compliance to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of supply functions, operational procedures, program requirements, and material support systems applicable to Civil Engineering Equipment (CEE).
  • Develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies and schedules to support mission requirements.
  • Lead the installation, calibration, maintenance, sustainment, and lifecycle management of complex equipment systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance metrics to ensure optimal operational efficiency and readiness.
  • Analyze team effectiveness, cost reports, equipment records, engineering documentation, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure strict adherence to applicable policies, procedures, and established work practices.
  • Apply civil engineering concepts, principles, and practices to equipment management and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for hazardous waste management and disposal.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat, to perform analysis, documentation, and reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of program objectives.

Required Qualifications and

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience managing Civil Engineering Equipment assets and maintenance teams.

Specialized

Experience:

Demonstrated experience in Civil Engineering Equipment maintenance, including the development and execution of maintenance strategies and schedules; leadership of equipment installation, calibration, sustainment, and performance monitoring; and analysis of team effectiveness, cost data, equipment records, engineering reports, and schedules. Proven knowledge of supply functions, operational processes, program requirements, and material support programs is required.
