Overview
We need a Project‑Based Production Supervisor to oversee the installation, rehearsal, and operation of assigned entertainment venues and ensure safety, quality and show integrity.
Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of daily entertainment operations.
- Create detailed cast and crew schedules/line grids and input them into the team member management platform.
- Review, approve and adjust daily schedules as needed.
- Maintain training protocols, SOPs and safety procedures; update and develop these in collaboration with the manager.
- Perform administrative tasks: budget tracking, punch lists, rehearsal schedules, production calendars, presentation creation, production stage‑manager duties, ambassador onboarding, Kronos, Seeds, work orders and audition support.
- Maintain SEA quality and integrity for assigned entertainment product.
- Assist in installation/remounting of new or changing show/performance product and communicate with internal and external departments.
- Work with cast and crew to resolve technical, safety and cleaning issues; learn and operate technical tracks as applicable.
- Train, supervise, evaluate, coach and develop cast/crew; maintain training records.
- Track and document behaviors, administer feedback & evaluations.
- Develop and maintain safety inspections and procedures (green‑tag, injury reduction plans, MSDS sheets, emergency action plans, injury reports, monthly inspections).
- Act as point‑of‑contact for internal/external departments and outside contractors.
- Attend meetings, development classes, monitor schedules and hours; update ambassador files and communicate via email.
- Assist guests and demonstrate courtesy and professionalism.
- Support creative, pre‑production, rehearsal and operation of entertainment offerings as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree in theatre or related field preferred.
- Minimum one year theme‑park experience preferred.
- Minimum one year production experience in media (theatre, television, radio, motion pictures, dance, recording studio or visual arts).
- Special event, stage‑manager or project‑management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work well with others; strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Ability to multitask, maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent guest service.
- Physical ability to walk and stand for long periods in extreme weather conditions.
- Comfortable climbing onto platforms and catwalks for inspections.
- Ability to work as a team player, communicate and resource with internal and external ambassadors.
- Consistently practice safe work habits, use PPE, lift safely and report unsafe situations.
- Willingness to comply with and ensure ambassadors comply with SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Ability to complete all legal, company and department training requirements and certifications within established timelines.
