Aramark seeks a highly qualified Controller to oversee the finance operations within our vibrant Hospitality & Travel sector. This pivotal role ensures financial integrity, promotes efficiency, and supports our commitment to excellence across a variety of establishments, including foods services and facility management initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, delivering accurate financial reports while aligning financial management with the strategic objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, transactional accounting, and payroll oversight.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements for internal and external use.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Analyze variances and communicate financial metrics to senior management.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.
- Participate in auditing activities by providing information and preparing requested documentations.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, especially Oracle or SAP.
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent data analysis and financial forecasting abilities.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing finance teams.
