Autumn House Williamsburg is seeking a Licensed Beautician! Part Time, Contract work available.

Autumn House Williamsburg is a Cardinal Senior Living facility located at 4354 Mt Hope Road, Williamsburg, MI.

Autumn House Williamsburg offers the opportunity to work with a great team of professionals to ensure the residents' needs are met in a quality and safe environment.

Purpose: Ensure that all residents receive beauty shop services in-house.

• Beautician will pay monthly chair rental fee, purchase all supplies, and collect payment for services rendered.
• Provide wash, set, cut, perm, and other beautician services to residents.
• Schedule appointments.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of shop per policy and compliance guidelines.
• Maintain adequate supplies.
• Maintain updated chemical information forms.
• Promotes and encourages resident independence while maintaining resident dignity, individuality, and confidentiality.
• Follow Infection Control policies for Beauty Salon.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, projects, special events, committees, and mandatory trainings as appropriate.

Education & Knowledge Requirements
- Specific education, certification, and licensure:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid State of Michigan Beautician license.
• Experience working in a senior living facility preferred but not necessary

Essential Abilities
:

• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to do multiple tasks, such as communicating with residents while performing other duties.
• Ability to perform the functions required to push a resident in a wheelchair.
