ResponsibilitiesThe Direct Service Associate III is directly accountable to the LPN, RN I, RN II, RN MGR I, for the provision of direct care to mentally ill patients in an assigned unit, according to the philosophy and objectives of Eastern State Hospital Department of Nursing and the Hospital’s mission, goals and objectives.
Shifts are as follows:
- 3:00pm-11:30pm (two 8‑hour shifts)
- 7:00pm-7:30am (two 12‑hour shifts)
- Valid driver’s license or must be able to obtain within 60 days of employment.
- Experience working directly with individuals with challenging mental health and behavior issues in a public, residential, or psychiatric hospital is preferred.
