Job ResponsibilitiesProvide crisis stabilization in the crisis care center, home, and community through mobile services, and short-term crisis counseling interventions to meet the needs of individuals and/or families in the community.
Assist individuals with crisis resolution and general problem-solving.
Respond in a timely manner to individuals receiving services, families, and representatives of multiple systems by providing and gathering necessary information, as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and QualificationsKnowledge, skills and abilities in the assessment, evaluation and diagnosis of persons with mental illness, mental retardation and substance use disorders, including risk determination - danger to self or others, inability to care for self due to mental illness, imminent risk.
Ability to facilitate clinically appropriate response to persons in acute behavioral health crisis situations – assessment, Short Term Crisis Counseling, hospitalization, triage and referral, or other dispositions.
Knowledge and understanding of Discharge Protocols and the procedures for Continuity of Care between the CSB's and State and private psychiatric facilities, associated CBH policies and procedures, and Emergency Services procedures.
One year of clinical experience with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder required.
Valid driver's license required.
Bachelor's Degree in a human services field required.
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP A/C) required.
