Key Responsibilities of the Vascular Interventional Technologist
- Scrubbing invasive cardiology procedures from diagnostic caths to complex PCI with Impella insertion
- Performing scrubs for pacemaker insertions and EP ablations
- Handling a variety of diagnostic to PCI procedures with expertise
- Conducting Impella procedures frequently in conjunction with STEMI calls
Requirements of the Vascular Interventional Technologist
- RCIS certification with over two years of experience
- Experience in scrubbing invasive cardiology procedures is required
- Virginia state license is necessary
- Flu vaccination must be completed one week prior
- Minimum of two current professional references
