Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Operational Leadership: Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring staff adhere to service standards, grooming, and appearance guidelines.
- Guest Service: Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, proactively resolve complaints, and handle special requests.
- Staff Management: Train, mentor, and coach employees; create staff rosters; and assign daily tasks/side work.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels for food, beverages, and supplies; conduct inventory counts; and assist with ordering and cost-reduction measures.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including alcohol service laws.
- Coordination: Liaise between front-of-house, kitchen, and sales departments to ensure smooth service for banquets and events.
