Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Maintenance

Technician III

Responsible for maintaining the Camp-Resort’s facilities, structures, and utilities; keeping them operable and in top condition. This is a SEASONAL
, full-time or part-time position and reports to the Facilities Manager.

Advanced skill level position in the Maintenance Tech classification. Distinguished from lower categories because no supervision required. Capable of leading daily directives when Manager/Supervisor is absent.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • General Duties
    • Monitor and maintain the condition of the Camp-Resort’s property, facilities, and equipment
    • Respond to maintenance requests promptly
    • Assist in planning and executing projects from start to finish
    • Troubleshoot and perform semi-skilled duties in inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance; supervise heating and plumbing systems
    • Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
  • Administrative Duties
    • Regularly update Facilities Manager on the status of repairs, preventative maintenance, and projects
    • Maintain service records on mechanical and structural systems
    • Ensure SOPs for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping, and safety are followed
    • Assist in training and development of team members
  • Other Essential Duties
    • Comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations
    • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
Education / Training / Experience
  • 7+ years of consistent and professional work experience in a variety of trades
  • Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field preferred
  • Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a positive work environment by communicating effectively with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management
  • Valid driver’s license
Essential Physical Demands
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
  • Regularly move throughout the park
  • Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
  • Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
