Sentara is hiring a Manager, Supply Chain in the Williamsburg area.
This is a Full-Time, Rotating shift opportunity with great benefits.
As the Manager, Supply Chain
, you will assume responsibility and accountability for the operational success of a hospital Materials Management department. Responsible for the delivery of high quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectation. Achieve system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives. Develop a highly motivated team that works efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers. Provide on-site guidance and direction to assure supply chain goals and objectives are met.
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in material management is required. An additional 5 years of materials management experience is required.
Required Qualifications- 5 years of Materials Management experience
- 3 years of Supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Experience working in a healthcare setting with responsibility for supply chain and inventory management functions.
- A strong understanding of inventory control, materials management, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
- Experience leading and developing a team of associates, including training and day-to-day operational supervision.
