Machine Operator

Shift:
Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Pay: $17-18/hr

Job Responsibilities of Machine Operators:

• Operate a sort machine in a fast-paced production-based environment
• Establish and maintain a good relationship with customer and internal associates
• Complete safety checklists/production logs/ quality logs on time and with accuracy
• Work in accordance with a quality system that is compliant with company standard
• Establish an effective line of communication with peers and management
• Employ a clean as you go method on production floor and good housekeeping practices
• Sort a minimum of 10,000 tier sheets per 8-hour shift

Education and Experience of Machine Operators:

• At least 2 years previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
• At least 2 years previous production-based work
• Ability to provide an effective line of communication
• Positive attitude
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to meet warehouse deadlines
• High School or GED equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements of Machine Operators:

• Ability to lift heavy packages or units up to 50 lbs. continuously, and stand for up to 10 hours at a time
• Ability to effectively perform a job requiring consistent, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• OSHA and safety informed; safety first attitude
