Overview
Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, Williamsburg, VA – Registered Nurse Manager – IMCU / Step Down / Acute Stroke. This role manages the full responsibilities of an inpatient acute care IMCU unit at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN Manager will supervise and manage a 24‑hour operation, including scheduling, evaluations, resources, mentoring, and assisting staff. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and developing team members to achieve a highly effective work team, while engaging in talent retention strategies for the area of responsibility.
Requirements- 3 years or more of recent nursing leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting – required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or higher) – required.
- RN license to practice in Virginia – required.
- RN‑Bachelor’s Degree, or
- RN‑Master’s Degree
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
